Who we are
WIRA.my (“WIRA”, “we”) is an independent research and knowledge platform based in Malaysia. This policy explains how we handle personal data collected through this website, in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia).
What we collect
- Research enquiries: your name, e-mail address, organisation (optional) and message, when you submit the enquiry form.
- Newsletter: your e-mail address, when you subscribe to updates.
- Technical data: standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) kept by our hosting provider for security and performance.
How we use it
We use your details only to respond to your enquiry, to send the updates you asked for, and to keep the website secure. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Cookies and third-party services
This website uses only cookies that are necessary for it to work. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers when you visit.
Retention and your rights
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with them. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to unsubscribe, at any time.
